Bahama Packing

Recommended Posts

It depends what you prefer. For a 4-night cruise, a person can easily bring 3-4 outfits for every day and it will all fit in 1 big suitcase + 1 carry on. If you prefer, you can bring ONLY a carry on and have enough clothes, it depends what type of cruise fashion experience you want.

You doubt you can do a 4-night cruise with only 1 small rolling suitcase (carry-on size)? Here is an example of what is doable (obviously, you don't have to buy all this, it's just an example from my own ward robe, you just have to pick your clothes that can easily mix-and-match:

Embarkation day:

Running shoes (because they take too much space in the suitcase)

Casual beige pants

Nice black t-shirt

Black smart casual jacket

Sunglasses

Carry-on:

Large ziploc bag with all your lotions, makeup, deodorizer, toothpaste, etc.

Another ziploc bag for: 2 bathing suits, 3 day bras, 3 evening bras, 8 panties, 3 pair of socks, 2 pantyhose (if you wear them).

Black Straw Hat (pack it the head on the bottom and roll your other clothes in a way to make a ''bed'' for the hat and its rim.

3 nice t-shirts (solid white, solid aqua, brown polo shirt with nice aqua and beige embroidery)

1 shorts for the gym

2 tank tops (fancy black, casual white)

1 black (white polka dots) capris, nice fabric

1 beige capris

1 cocktail dress with shawl/wrap

1 aqua knee-lenght skirt

1 pair of casual nude/beige sandals

1 pair of strappy sandals

1 pair of black flip flops

1 neutral color small casual purse

1 black small evening clutch

All that can easily fit in a carry-on size suitcase. You can then wear your clothes like that:

Embarkation day:

Day:as listed above (beige pants, black t-shirt, smart casual jacket, sneakers)

Evening: sundress, casual beige sandals and purse

Day 2:

Gym: gym shorts, black t-shirt, sneakers

Day: beige capris, solid aqua t-shirt, beige sandals.

Evening (formal): Black cocktail dress with your shawl/wrap, black strappy sandals and evening clutch

Day 3:

Gym: gym shorts, aqua t-shirt, sneakers

Day: sundress, black flip flops, black straw hat

Evening: Black and white polka dots capris, fancy black tank top, black strappy sandals and evening clutch

Day 4:

Gym:

Gym shorts, white t-shirt, sneakers

Day: Black and white capris, white tank top, black flip flops, black straw hat

Evening: Aqua skirt, brown polo shirt with beige and aqua embroidery, beige sandals and purse.

Debarkation day:

Embarkation beige pants, brown polo shirt, sneakers.

Note: you may have to bring an extra tote bag to bring back your souvenirs.
