Need instruction for luggage at peir

I just changed from an assigned ocean view to a guaranteed balcony sailing in 5 weeks, my choice. If I don't have a cabin assignment before we reach the Pier tell me how to handle our luggage with the porters. I did try calling customer service for information and just did not get very far. I would not like to carry all of it on with me. Thanks for the info.:)

When you get to the pier, there will be a cruise line rep with a manifest and will be able to give you your cabin #, which can be written on luggage tags provided by the porters.

 

You may also want check online (if your cruiseline has this option) to see if they assigned a cabin yet.

Thanks for the help Princess said it could be all the way up to boarding for an assignment but I sure will keep checking.
