King Bob....question for you.

When you were in Lucaya did you have to pay to rent the lounge chairs? Another person said they were approached by an employee and it was $15 for beach lounges and $20 for pool lounges. If anyone else has experience with this, please let me know. Thanks for your help. :)

Brenda, I did not try to use the beach chairs at the Sheraton/Westin so unfortunately I can't answer that question. However, years ago when I stayed at the Holiday Inn Lucaya (which is now the Sheraton) there was a charge to have a beach chair/umbrella combination. So it's quite likely there is a charge now too. The beach itself is public and free, if you want to use a towel or blanket. But if you want chairs and an umbrella and you're not even staying in the hotel, it makes sense that there would be a charge for that. BobK/Orlando
