Pizza - 24 hr? on NCL Spirit

My husband is a great fan of the 24 hr available pizza on the Carnival ships - he loves to go up late in the evening and have pizza and maybe even some ice cream. Celebrity also had it available 24 hrs

 

Does the Spirit have pizza available 24 hrs or ice cream - and is it any good? On the Dream it was only available a few hours a day and wasn't that great.

I don't think the Spirit has pizza 24hr a day. They did have it in the afternoons, but to be honest, it wasn't very good.

They also had ice cream every afternoon, sorta like an ice cream station offering maybe 3 flavors, and you could add sprinkles and chocolate sauce.

You will love the Spirit, we had a wonderful time this past September, and to tell the truth, we have been on the Dawn twice, and while we love her, we preferred the Spirit....go figure LOL

Is the chocolate moose available thru room service too? I love room service! Every night when I had to put my daughter to bed last year on the Majesty I ordered room service before bed....milk, cookies, sometimes pizza, etc. She thought it was a great treat to get room service before bed :)

I can see me now. "I'll have 2 slices of pizza, a couple cookies, milk and 10 choclolate mousses" :)

Pizza is sold by the personal size (like pizza hut but its not a pan pizza), and I don't think milk and cookies are available (trying to rememeber, but I don't think I saw it on the menu), however Chocolate mousses, I would recomend at least that many :D

There's nothing that can compare with CCL 24 hr pizza and calzones! I miss them. BUT freestyle wins.

Blue Lagoon is open 24 hour for food too.

 

It closed late at night during both cruises I took on Spirit. I was totally starving one night and all I could get from the BL was Saltines! If you are really hungry you can sneak into Raffles from the outside (above the kids' pool) and get boxes of cereal and milk. You can hear the cooks talking and the radio going but the dining area is abandoned. It's kinda cool and one of the best late nights I had (I'm talking 3 am).

No, there is no charge for room service pizza. I believe the poster meant that the pizza is served in personal size portions.

Hmm.... that works, but while we're at it, I'd like to grab a waiter to serve the meal. Maybe take the concierge too, that way we never have a problem getting into the only restuarant in the house :D. Maybe take the comedian too, that way we're never bored. OOOH!!! I'd really love a dealer from the casino, but they have to be Romanian, becuase I think they had the best sense of humor out of all the dealers!

 

One can only wish...
