Upgrade ?

Last July I booked an 8A balcony gtd, we were recently upgraded to an 8F, I just noticed on Carnival.com that the 8a price dropped from $100 per person and I noticed that a BL gtd is $250 per pax cheaper. so here are my questions.

 

1. Should I ask the TA for a downgrade and ask her to call Carnival for the 8A and the $100 per person diference, I called Carnival knowing my TA would have to call, and they say they can at times work out shipboard credit.

 

2. Should I go for the BL and go for whatever, and is it a big downgrade if i get a obstructed blc

 

We leave in 12 days.

I wouldn't worry about the money, you just received a great upgrade!

Deck 7 in my opinion is the best deck on the ship.

Yes, I agree. We booked an 8a guarantee and were placed on Deck 7 (verandah I believe?). I'm quite pleased at it looks to be a very quiet location.

I would keep the upgrade. Let carnival know your guest number is willing to take and upgrade anytime.
