Cranes Beach

I'm looking for recent information on Cranes Beach, I've seen mixed reviews: "most beautiful beach ever..." to "poorly maintained, trash filled dump..." So, anybody been there recently that can comment?

It's gorgeous. Certainly not a "trash filled dump".

I go every April. The only negative (a positive for some?) is that in the wooded area of palms there is a guy who sells pot. He sometimes approaches tourists (usually the guys) to see if they want any. The Crane Resort has plans for that wooded area (they own the land). There are going to be outdoor spa/massage stations so I don't know what will happen to the dope dealer? But the beach is beautiful. I have several pictures. The photos can't do justice to capture how wonderful a place this is - the soft pink sand, the warm salty water, the sound of the surf.
