We will be on the 12 day Dawn, next October. Wondering what the typical sea conditions are on this route. I know if will probably be cold but hopefully not too windy.

Thanks for any input.

Regards,

Dennis

Sea state often unpredicatable.

We've been in those waters three different times:

10-92, very smooth, Montreal to NYC, Crystal Harmony

9-97, fairly bumpy, Montreal to NYC, Westerdam

9-98, moderate chop, Dover to NYC, Royal Princess

Predicting weather and sea state a year in advance...hmmm they can't get this weekend right. It can be anything and probably will be from calm to a full Hurricaine. The only thing guaranteed is the sea will be wet. It won't necessarily be cold either.

We just completed a Montreal to New York cruise earlier this month.

Seas were calm except for one night when we had 12 to 18 foot waves. A little rough for some but not a problem for us. It was a weather front moving through the area. It happened to be the night between Sydney and Halifax. The sea was calm the other nights.

Enjoy your cruise and don't waste your time worrying.:D
