BarbaraP Posted October 30, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 30, 2006 Does anyone know why the bridge cam on the Grand says it's heading for dry dock? Isn't it set to sail to the US on Nov. 1st? Just curious, Barb:confused:

Just curious, Barb:confused: The guy/gal that would update the bridge cam image/info is doing other stuff. Princess doesn't really do a great job of updating bridge cam info unless they are actively transporting passengers.
MTJSR Posted October 30, 2006 #3 Share Posted October 30, 2006 A close friend of mine was lucky enough to see the Grand in dry dock and reports that he saw numerous people climbing around the funnel area of the ship. Also said it appears the ship was getting all new furniture on the balconys.
ilovhywd Posted October 30, 2006 #4 Share Posted October 30, 2006 For more than a week now, the webcam has reported the Grand Princess en route to drydock. However, today's photo shows open seas, as she is now on the way to Barcelona for Wednesday's trans-Atlantic sailing! Later this week, we promise to update the message board with a description of the improvements that we notice. Ilene
