lisa73 Posted October 30, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 30, 2006 Does anyone know if Royal Caribbean books its dive excursions through Hugh Parkey in Belize? If not, who do they use?
tootsiescurly Posted October 30, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 30, 2006 DH and were on the Splendour of the Seas in April of 2005. The only diving excursion we booked with RCI was in Belize. Not sure which operation they used. We will never book thru the ship again! It was cattle boat diving at its best. We had flailers, "Joe Diver" who did not feel the need to dive safely - went down to 90 ft after an 80 ft dive and there was no water or snacks provided between dives. The dive sites they took us to were less than spectacular. We are cruising the W. Caribbean in May 2007 and are trying to use Seasport Belize. They are a bit uncooperative when you only have 2 divers. They will take your deposit but will not take you out unless you have 4 divers. Don't waste your $ on RCI's excursion. tpride3 Posted October 31, 2006 #3 Share Posted October 31, 2006 We are going to be in Belize on Nov 23rd with RCL Enchantment of the Seas. We would love to have more info about diving there. We are new to diving and want to make sure this first boat trip will be a good one for us and our daughter(She is 12) She loves water and enjoyed the classes but it not so sure about the ocean since the whole sting ray thing). Any help would be great.
