drew2cruiser Posted November 2, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 2, 2006 …if Carnival Cruise Line does anything special for Cruise Critic groups? For example on my last two cruises, Princess and Royal Caribbean provided a complimentary room, hors d’oeuvres, and champagne for a meet-and-greet specifically for the group that met on-line. Not only was it neat to meet the folks we'd been chatting on line with, it was awesome that the cruise lines were so accommodating. Has anyone had any experience dealing with Carnival regarding this? Thanks!
momofzeke Posted November 2, 2006 #2 Share Posted November 2, 2006 No, Carnival doesn't do anything special for CC groups. They will do an hour party with hors' d'oeuvres and drinks, but they charge a fee. For our Miracle cruise they were going to charge our Roll Call group about $15 per person or something (can't really remember the amount). We did not choose to do it. We just met up on Lido and made our own fun! :)

Sue L Posted November 2, 2006 #4 Share Posted November 2, 2006 Select a specific time and meeting place for your group. You might all want to get something like mardi gras beads or blue shirts, in order to all reconize each other.
