Of getting an upgrade??? When do you receive them and by whom? I've never got any but have heard of so many others receiving them.

Suggestions

There are no set rules but there are plenty of suggestions:

 

1. Book a Guarantee category (like 8A balcony Guarantee) rather than a specific cabin.

 

2. Book as far in advance as you can.

 

3. Go during off-peak seasons.

 

4. Be a Carnival past guest and give them your numbers when booking.

There is a chance you could get one, and a chance you won't... so i would say 50/50 :D There is no secret to the upgrade fairy... It really is just luck. Many people looking for upgrades book a guarantee cabin in the category they would be happy in, then just sit back and pray to the upgrade Gods... Good luck!!!
