Spirit-class information

Hi,

Can anyone tell me about the aft cabins on the Spirit class (Legend)? We booked 8270 and 8272. I'm a little worried about the Panorama Deck and being right under the pool area. I know this isn't the main pool area, but is there a lot of noise? Are the aft cabins covered at all? I tend to get a little motion sick and I've never booked a cabin this high. I usually stay lower on the ship. Any help or a picture of these cabins would be great!

April 29th Here we come!

There hardly any cover on that deck, maybe a foot or so, so when you stand at the rail, anyone can look right down at you. However, they can't see you if you're seated. And if it rains, you're SOOL.

This may be your cabins rail:

As far as noise, they're not exactly gentle in the AM when they put out the deck chairs. I'm an early riser, so I wouldn't be bothered by it. The only time we were on deck 8, we were midship, under the Lido restaurant, and i think I heard noise about 5 times the whole week.

Here is a link to my pictures of cabin 8273 on the Spirit. It is a corner aft, Cat. 11, but there are shots of the balcony as well. I had this cabin in Alaska, so I did not have much noise overhead to contend with. You will hear chairs scraping when they clean the decks, and people can see down on part of your balcony. Neither was an issue for me.
