Fellow Cruise Critics...

We will be cruising the Mexican Riveria in early February 2007.

Our ports of call are: Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, and Puerto Vallarta.

We want to do a beach day at one port, whale watching at one port,

and just walk the city at another port. Which activity at which port?

Any input would be appreciated. I'm looking for the best activity for

the port, I know all can be done at each port. Thanks.

Happy Sailing............

OK, I'll put in my 2 cents:

Beach day ~ I would do Mazatlan (we did and it was a great day). Warm water and gently sloped beaches. Cabo is definitely not the place you want to do a beach day. Rough water, and steep sloped beach (at least where we were).

City walk ~ I think Puerto Vallarta would be the best for city sightseeing. There are tours you can do, or just research and do it on your own. Lots of info on the Ports of Call boards for PV.

Whale watching ~ that leaves Cabo for whale watching. We saw a whale on our snorkel tour in Cabo, so I know there are whales there. ;)

Enjoy your cruise! :)
