kchobbs Posted November 7, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 7, 2006 Hi there, my wife and I and our 16 month old son will be in Barbados in December. We are looking for some ideas, activities that we could do with an infant. Name of beaches, types of tours catering to those with infants, and any other ideas would be welcome. mimi'sgirl Posted November 8, 2006 #2 Share Posted November 8, 2006 Hi - I've posted a similar thread on the ports that we will be visiting and haven't gotten much of a response either. It was suggested by someone living in Barbados to try Accra Beach. There are bathrooms and changing facilities. At one of the ends of the beach there is a shallow area that is good for children. I was also looking into Paynes Bay. As far as tours go I can't help you. I haven't found anything that my 2 & 4 year olds would be able to handle except the "Sea Eye". It's a new boat that is similar to a glass bottom boat. The excursions are about an hour and a half. I need to get the info from my e-mail for you.(will post it later) There is also an aquarium called Ocean Park. Hope this gives you a little bit of help. Have a great trip. The website is http://www.theseaeye.com. It looks pretty cool. We might give this a try because it's a shorter excursion. I'd love to hear back from you after your trip with any suggestions. We go in April.
