I'm back from the Imagination...

We had such a nice trip... short as it was, we just relaxed... the weather was wonderful, although it stormed each night... As long as the days were sunny, I didn't mind.

Our cabin steward was awesome... he went above and beyond our expectations... Our waiter was the opposite. He did nothing to impress us... and to be truthful, he was the first waiter we've had that had trouble understanding us.

The ship itself is old, however very clean. People were cleaning it all the time. Our cabin E-16 was an oceanview... it has seen better days. Our cabin as well as my friends cabin smelled terribly of smoke. Luckily we were hardly in the rooms... but it was quite potent. The bathrooms could use an upgrade. The beds were super comfy, I want those pillows for home!!

The entertainment wasn't up to par with the other Carnival ships that I've been on. It actually was quite bad. The 2 comedians on board did not make us laugh... and we are very easy to laugh.

Let's see... there were no lines for anything. I found that quite nice. Embarking and DeBarking were sooo easy. The lido deck restaurant was very good. The omelet chef remembered my order after just the first day!

The piped in music on the pool deck was obnoxious. They blasted rap music with the "N" word, the "F" word and the "D & P" words!! I was disgusted... especially because there were children all around. Someone did complain, and they switched to some more appropriate music. I just wonder how they would even think to play that?? The reggae band was great! I wished they played non-stop...

I made a big donation to the casino:( the slots were just not liking me this trip!

Our piano bar singer was not so great... I think it was Greg? I still enjoyed singing along though.

I loved the hostess to the Karaoke bar... she was sooo funny.

The ship was really rocking. I've never been on such a rocking ship. I took my Bonine and I was fine. It was hard to walk around though...

I'm still rocking!! :) All in all, we had a great time. Reading back on this, it seems like I'm a complainer... I'm really not. I just wanted to point out the good and the bad.

Now I get to get psyched up for my February cruise aboard the Victory!!

If anyone has any questions, I'll be happy to answer them if I can.

I'm glad overall you had a good experience. We did the Imagination Oct 19-23 and had a great time. Our room also had a smoke smell. We really didn't notice it after the first afternoon. Its too bad someones habit has to impinge on others. I was amazed at how many cigarette butts there were just thrown on the Lido deck. I watched the crew one morning when they were hosing down the deck and the gutter was full of cigarettes.
