Wine Stores in Bridgetown

Can anyone recommend a good wine shop in Bridgetown? Even better if it's close to the Hilton.

We have just returned from Barbados and we bought wine at one of the duty free shops in the main street.

 

It was delivered directly to the ship, we could not take it with us and it was very inexpensive.

Thanks, Jennie. Did you have to show your cruise ticket, or anything else, for them to sell it duty-free?

That is the leading store on the island and they have a shop at the pier as well as in town or in Holetown. You order the duty free, show passport and ticket and they deliver it to the ship for you. If you plan to drink it on the ship you will need to arrange to pick it up before the ship gets it. I"m not sure of the procedure. I did buy some rum from them on a cruise a few years ago but can'r remember if I got it in my cabin or they held it. When I stayed there several years ago I picked it up at the airport.
