Anyone been pregnant while cave tubing?

I will be only 14 weeks pregnant, reasonably fit - and I am curious if the walk to the tubing is too treacherous. If anyone has been cave tubing recently (while pregnant) and has some advice, I'd appreciate it. Also please mention what tour you went with - because I've heard that if your guide is inattentive - it can ruin it. Thanks!!!!

  • 1 month later...

My wife was nearly 7 months pregnant when went cave tubing. If we went a week later, the cruise ship would not have let us go. We were on the Carnival Valor. I think the web page was cave-tubing.com. The guides could see that my wife was pregnant and they were great. They kept on saying that she was given a VIP treament. There is a bit of drop down when you first get in the tube but it wasn't a problem. A couple more of the guides came over (part of the VIP treatment). Then they put her in front of the tube line which was nice. I would tell them that you are pregnant. It really should be no problem.
