RCCL Credit Card points

Has anyone used any points from the RCCL credit card. I have 25,000 points and was wondering how it worked to use an upgrade. Do I have to use the points at the time I book? Can I apply to points after I book? Beacause it is based on availbility am I guaranteed a balcony? Any assistance would be great!

How about calling MBNA (number on the back of the card) to inquire?

 

I just got my RCL Visa today in fact! I'm excited cause now I can either cruise Carnival or RCL and get points (I also have the Carnival mastercard).
