I am new to the Norwegian Board and was wondering how tipping works with the Freestyle cruising. On Carnival and Princess they charge a daily rate per person. Is there something similar on Norwegian? If so, how much?

NCL also charges a daily rate per person. It's a charge of $10 per person, per day and it's added to your on-board account. For children ages three to 12, it's $5 per-person, per-day. 15% gratuity is added automatically to each alcoholic drink and soda order.

15% is also added to all SPA services.

 

The kids club counselors, butler, and concierge are not part of the $10 daily tips so tip them if you use their services.:)
