Time zone on Carnival Miracle- Jan 2007

Was wondering if anyone knows what the time zone will be on the Carnival Miracle ship in Jan 2007 going to the western caribbean out of Tampa... We are trying to plan some shore excursions on our own and want to make sure we have the times right! Thanks!

EST, unless you stop at Cozumel. They are an hour behind.

Pete is correct. You must keep your watch on ship's time throughout the cruise even though the time in port may be an hour behind. If you're booking independent tours with well known providers, they should be aware of the time difference between the port and the ship and get you back to the ship on time!

 

I just got off the Miracle on the 5th. A lovely ship, great crew and good food. We had a great time!

We have been on some cruises where they change the time back and forth (coming from Eastern into Central and back) but (as stated earlier) the Miracle does not do this.

 

Once you get on the ship's Eastern time...the ship stays the same....which means my watch stays the same...because it is the "ship's time" by which the ship will sail and I certainly don't want it to do that without me.

 

We were on the Miracle in October and I want to go back ...NOW!!!! :eek:
