heyitsmejudy Posted November 13, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 13, 2006 We're in Freeport on Christmas and Nassau on the 26th. Two in our party of 6 want to snorkel... Would you folks suggest Freeport or Nassau for snorkeling and would you do it through the cruise (Carnival offers Peterson Cay or Sea Safari in Freeport or Blackbeards Treasure Beach or Peark Island in Nassau) or through another company? I worry that Stuart Cove's (which I understand is the preferred) won't mesh with our schedule of also wanting to hit the straw market, etc. If you've been on the Blackbeard's Treasure one, I assume there is stuff for the "non" snorkelers to do as well. Am I correct? Otherwise, what are thoughts of something for all six of us (ages 15 to 60ish) to do as a family? I'm thinking Lycayan National Park in Freeport and Ardastra in Nassau. I would really appreciate any feedback
kaseyoz Posted November 14, 2006 #2 Share Posted November 14, 2006 we recently went to blackbeards cay for the sting ray tour. I am not sure there is much to do there besides the sting rays. there were not many people ashore when we went and there were three ships in dock karon
