Transfer booking from TA to hal

Hi. I know that people book with a cruise line and it will be transfered to their TA to take care of the rest. Sometimes people hook-up w/ a TA that isn't cutting it. Will HAL (or another line you are aware of) allow you to transfer your booking w/ the TA to the cruise line? Thanks.

It will partly depend on the fine print with your TA. Many TA's have a fee to cancel or switch.....$50 to $100 pp is common. Once you pay that fee you should be able to switch to HAL. HAL will need a letter from your TA releasing you as a client. It can be unpleasant.
