lennie schwartz Posted November 15, 2006 #2 Share Posted November 15, 2006 i stay at the tremont plaza hotel in baltimore relatively often..it is convenient to the inner harbor tourist areas and johns hopkins hospital both of which are few blocks away..there are no hotels really conveniently located to the cruise port..cab fare from the hotel should not be prohibitive though..the hotel is VERY nice but trafficked..facilities always clean..lobby is very european..rooms are at least studio apartment size with kitchen facilities in room..beds firm but comfortable..bathrooms large and amenities most adequate..TUGS restaurant in house and small deli have good food and in bad weather save having to get out in weather..can sometime get good rate at Hotels.com but othewise is comparable to other over priced hotels in inner harbor/fells point area..hopoe this is helpful..i will be on the repositioning cruise out of balt on sunday but live in dc area so wont be overnighting...best wishes! Lightsluvr Posted December 2, 2006 #7 Share Posted December 2, 2006 Gee Jim, I would like info on this hotel as well. I read somewhere that they have a shuttle service for guests. I know they are convenient to the Inner Harbor, Little Italy and Fells Point. Should be plenty to see. LL

madelinerose Posted January 23, 2007 #9 Share Posted January 23, 2007 Many moons ago, I dated someone who lived there when it was an apartment building. Haven't been there in ages, but, here's some sites that may help. http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g60811-d93889-Reviews-Tremont_Plaza_Hotel_on_Saint_Paul_Place-Baltimore_Maryland.html http://www.tremontsuitehotels.com/photo_gallery/photo_gallery.cfm It's a short 6 block or so downhill walk to the Inner Harbor. Good luck. ;) Karen
