Docking in St Johns

If you are coming in to Cruz Bay (the main port on the island), there are fairly abundant taxis (basically open-air pick-up trucks with surrey tops) that will take you along North Shore Road - the road to the key beaches including Trunk. They mostly load at the Red Hook ferry area. The town of Cruz Bay is small enough that it is hard not to find the taxis.

Hello Chuck,

If your itinerary says St. Johns (with an s) you might want to double check that its not actually St. Johns Antigua.

While St. John (no s) in the USVI doesn't have a cruise ship dock like Jeanne indicated a few ships do call on St. John. They remain anchored offshore and passengers are tendered into Cruz Bay (the main little town on St. John). As PABirder indicated there are lots of taxis in Cruz Bay, primarily around the ferry dock. You shouldn't have a problem finding a taxi.
