Coffee maker?

Taking the Pride in December. When MDW and I cruised on Princess a few years ago we heard how bad the coffee was. We brought a coffee maker that brews into travel mugs and made our own coffee in the morning. It made us very happy in the morning! How is the room service coffee on Carnival?

I thought it was vile but I don't care for strong coffee. I use the stomach sensitive at home. I am considering taking my own on this next cruise. I jsut wasn't sure if it was ok.

I LOVE the coffee from room service, but I like strong coffee.

Don't even think about bring on a coffee pot!

 

We were on the Miracle a couple of weeks ago, and while in line to disembark for a shore excursion, the couple in front of us was pulled out of line. It seems the cabin steward found an electric coffee pot in their room. They were held aside and I don't know what the end result was but I suspect it was confiscated. It's a fire hazard.

 

I got room service every morning and found the coffee to be quite good!

My cousin bought us two of the french press coffee mugs, and I took our own coffee (grind before leaving :p ).

I personally did not like the coffee that was brought by room service, but the coffee in the Cezzanne and Monet were good. I also frequented the coffee bar.

I thought the room service coffee was fine, ordered a pot every morning to enjoy on the balcony.

Found the RS coffee on the Holiday to be nearly undrinkable. That said, the coffee on HAL and Princess WAS undrinkable. :eek: Had no trouble w/ our coffeepot yet on 4 lines. Really makes the day start better.

I like strong coffee but i think Carnivals coffee is nasty and never hot enough (i like mine 180) BUT who cares, as long as i am sitting out on a balcony in the middle of the ocean watching the sunrise, who's thinking about what the coffee tastes like:)
