Beach Snorkeling in Antigua???

Linie

Recommended Posts

Try Long Bay Beach in the north east part of Antigua. I remember the reef being very close to shore there and there are hotels and eateries located near by.

Also there is Darkwood beach which is nice with a small reef close to shore. There is a beach bar here also for refreshments and food. It is the next beach south of Jolly Beach on the west side but you must go by road from the Jolly Beach Hotel as the shoreline is not passable in between. You will need a taxi or car to go to either.

Dickenson Bay beach is very nice and much closer to St. John's but I don't remember a reef beingclose to shore there so the snorkeling is probably just so-so..
