sofas in cabins don't move!

Just wanted to share with everyone what Carnival just informed me. A CC member had suggested that I can turn the sofa around and push it against the wall so that my toddler can sleep in it safely. Great idea! But I assumed heavy furniture would be nailed down (for safety during rough sea!) so I called Carnival and they confirmed my suspicion. The sofas do NOT move.

We were on NCL Dawn and ours moved. I don't know if the system to attach it to the floor was not functioning, or if it was to move. It was small, hardly a sofa, so maybe that was the reason. Janice
