Grand Cayman suggestions sought for handicapped couple

Howdy...

We are taking our first ever cruise on the Rhapsody 12/3 and be in G.C. on 12/7 and we can use some suggestions.

Hubby uses a w/c dure to arthritis but can stand, take a few steps if neccesary.

There are so many things that look interesting to us, but we are concerned how difficult some excursions may be and how much assistance will be offered or provided.

Alos we are very unsure how "accessible" we are going to find 7 mile beach, rum point, restaurants and some of the touristy areas of the island will be?

We are also considering renting a car to take a dricing tour of the island as we heard cabs are very expensive?

Any comments, observations or suggestions would be greatly appreciated...
