wencel Posted November 21, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 21, 2006 Has anyone tried this? I assume they're umbrella strollers? Did it have a covering/canopy? Did it recline? Did you have any problems with availability? Was it usable for port visits (ie was it sturdy enough to maneuver around while shopping in port)? We don't expect to need one except when we're meandering around town on our stops so I'm thinking of doing just a few days rentals. Would appreciate any info! Hi there, me again:p Just wanted to let you know that we brought a small portable carriage with us that reclined. Very lite weight with a canopy. Would have been lost without. Used it on the ship all the time and also took it to the ports. Had a small basket underneath for shopping and cup holder etc. Would not recommend the umbreller type that doesn't recline. Not sure if your flying to port or not but we just checked the carriage when we boarded the plane and they had it ready for us. No problem transporting it at all. I know we would have had a hard time keeping up with her running around the ship if she had not been in the carriage!!
