Should we book one of the special venues or will Christmas dinner in the main dining rooms be special? I was on Norwegian Spirit for Christmas and I don't remember the dinner being anything special. Well, certainly not memorable. In fact, what I remember most is that I was surprised to see it wasn't a special menu. What you can do is ask to see that night's menu at the booking table and decide if you want to make a reservation for a specialty restaurant. cruise pup Posted November 29, 2006 #4 Share Posted November 29, 2006 Christmas caroling in the atrium is as big as it gets. Please keep one thing in mind. All of the staff are away from their families for the holiday so try to be extra friendly, especially the ones that are missing their kids and such. We had a very homesick waitress on a Christmas cruise. On New Year's Eve we all shouted out "Happy New Year" in Russian to her and it actually put a smile on her face, which was weird because she was from Taiwan ;0).
