TN Vol Fan Posted November 27, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 27, 2006 Can anyone recommend a good restaurant to sample local cuisine close into Georgetown? We really don't want a hotel restaurant- just somewhere good and easy to get to. :p
jmo1 Posted November 27, 2006 #2 Share Posted November 27, 2006 I recommend the Reef Grill at Royal Palms. It is on Seven Mile Beach, just a mile or two (inexpensive taxi ride) from the tender docks. It is very good, and reasonably priced for GC where restaurant prices are high. drew sailbum Posted November 27, 2006 #3 Share Posted November 27, 2006 Dining, local style, is often from small restaurants. In Georgetown, I like Corita's Copper Kettle on Edward Street near the library. It is a small place with good food at reasonable prices, and an easy walk from the port area. Along Seven Mile Beach is the West Shore Centre, a shopping centre which is home to Chicken!Chicken! They serve excellent wood roasted chicken with a variety of side dishes.
