khicks1101 Posted November 28, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 28, 2006 Can anyone suggest a good Aussie travel insurance for cruising? I appreciate any suggestions.(well polite ones anyway, lol):D
chaz cruiser Posted November 28, 2006 #2 Share Posted November 28, 2006 I've used CGU in the past. You can purchase the policy online and I have never had a problem. Although I have also never had to lodge a claim. I have been told by the person who recommended them to me in the beginning though that they do have a great claims department and are no problem. Check out www.cgu.com.au. We have also used the one provided by Flight Centre before because it was easier than shopping around! Cheers, Chaz:) PS I do not work for CGU nor get any commissions! acdc Posted November 28, 2006 #3 Share Posted November 28, 2006 I bought Defence Health, at the recommendation of another cruiser who said that they had made a claim with no problems. Looks to be the cheapest.
ChrisBNE Posted November 28, 2006 #4 Share Posted November 28, 2006 Make sure you choose a policy based on all it's merits(schedule of benefits), not just the price. Compare the level of cover you are recieving with other policies, to make sure you are covered sufficiently. You get what you pay for.
