What's a good rate for an inside guarantee for the Christmas week sailing(7 days)?

The DW and I are going on the Valor next month for Christmas. We booked earlier this year and was quoted 941 including taxes for an inside guarantee. Is this about normal? Thanks.

Travelocity has an inside stateroom guarantee on the Valor for $853 pp with taxes right now. Call Carnival & get an on-board credit for the difference.

Yo Boston6.......that's so much for the head's up. I called Carnival, who told me to contact my TA, who then called Carnival and I got a 200.00 ship board credit. That'll cover gratuities and pictures. LOL :)
