Embassy Suites

I don't think they do since they dont even have shuttles to the piers. I called them direct and they told me they don't have vans.

When we went out of NOLA in Feb 2005, most hotels there, especially in the downtown area did not have shuttles to their hotels from the airport. The only ones we found that did, were hotels near the airport so we stay there and took a cab to the pier the next day.

It was great. Nice location, you can see Riverwalk from the hotel and it is a 15 minute walk to the French Market area and about 10 min to Bourbon. It is across the street and down a block or 2 from Emerils. Lots of restaurants. At the hotel they have the usual free cocktails and cooked to order breakfast.

Thanks for all the info! I have stayed with ES at other cities, they are nice hotels. But it is good to know they are so close to the French Quarters and Bourbon St.

I guess we’ll be getting a taxi to and from the airport/terminal, and walking the rest of the time.

Has anyone eaten at Emerils?

I was wondering about the Cocktail Reception at Embassy Suites:)

Do you remember the times for that and is it limited ?

like one drink per person or what exactly ?

Thank you

in advance

It was about 5-7 there is NO limit!!! You go to the bar and ask for what ever you want - mixed drink or beer they have it. There was also snack type bar food (chips etc.) It was wonderful!
