bee-ess Posted November 29, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 29, 2006 I am going on an Alaska Cruise with a pre-cruise landtour of Canada next year and I have a question specific to the landtour part. I need to carry a laptop for the whole holiday but am concerned about how I will manage this on the landtour part. If I don't pack it with the main luggage I will need to carry it on the coach or train everyday and am worried about the security on the coach. Obviously I will not want to carry it around with me all the time, but how secure will it be if I leave it on the coach when we leave the coach. Is there anyone who has done a landtour who can advise me - I am from the UK and would not want to leave a laptop on a coach tour in the UK as they are not very secure. Any advice welcome. Do nt worry about this. I have been on many tours in this area and when the Driver and Tour Director are not with the coach they lock the door. I have never heard about any theft off a coach in my many years in this area. I hope you get this posting as yours was a long time ago. Have a great holiday, one of the most beautiful areas in all of North America.
