Difference between SS and SY?

It's usually just a matter of location. Same room, different location. SS is usually considered the better location (more mid ship) but it all depends on where you prefer.

 

We will be in a Prinsendam SY in January, the same cabin we had for the World Cruise in 2005. We prefer the location which is just forward of the forward stairs and has good internet access from the cabin.

If you look at the deck plans for the Vista's...

...SS's are on Deck 8 and SY's are on Deck 6.

No other difference.
