Just back from the 11day Spirit 11/19 - 11/30

Hi all,

Just wanted to drop a quick note since I just got back. We had a great time on this Cruise. We were first time cruiser but we do have plenty of travel experience and we thought that overall this was a great experience. This includes everything from the staff, the boat, restaurants, etc. I will be posting a review that will include some of the bad things but they do not in any way take away from the overall experience.

 

P.S. Derf if you are reading this you can stop posting in our Roll Call. I am sure that I am one of the first people to be home. I am also sure some of the CC people will be posting their reviews and soon as they get home, catch their breaths, and start some laundry. Remember Patience Is a virtue.

Randy, any chance you have the complete menus for the 10/11 days. Miss Janet was kind enough to post the new menus for the 7 day am interested to see the differences. Can't wait to read your full review "warts and all".:D

For now, just a quick run down of the islands:We had a great time and so did our kids.

The itinerary was great and the islands were beautiful except for the rain in Barbados, so we never got to the beach that day.

It rained the last time we went to Barbados too!! Oh well. Not one of our favorites anyway!!

The beaches were great on each island but we did a tour on Dominica, because there are just the black sand.. We would highly recommend this island tour to people who would love to see an island full of beauty and untouched nature.

We did this on our own ahead of time!!..(Thank you Cruise Critic for having this wonderful site)

We found "Renyo Tours" He was great, trusting,and his tour guides were as well. We never imagined this island was as beautiful as it really was. Renyo made it all worth the trip and he will accomodate your needs and where you want to go.:)

So, if anyone needs more info..be glad to answer what we can..:o This message board for us was great in our preparation to sail/so we know! We wish we were still there, as we are now working on 7 loads of laundry!!:eek:
