Cruise line league tables.

Being a bit bored waiting for my next cruise I thought I wonder which is the top cruise line according to Cruise Critic message boards and the numbers of threads. So here is the list as at 1st Dec. 2006.

1. RCI - 1344
   
2. Carnival - 1132
   
3. Princess - 785
   
4. NCL - 509
   
5. Celebrity - 442
   
6. HAL - 381
   
7. Cunard - 74
   
8. Oceania - 46
   
9. Regent - 44
   
10. Crystal - 40

Clearly RCI is the winner by quite a margin, but of course that could be because there is more to complain about.

I wonder if CC could list messages by category. ;)

Seems to also follow pretty closely with the number of passengers (per year). Which also follows with the number of ships each line has.

 

I would think the percentage of complainers and cheerleaders would be also be fairly consistent. ;)

Carnival consists of Princess, Cunard, etc is the leader of the 10 listed cruise lines.

I've been reading the Celebrity and Princess boards for a while and it's clear there are many more posts each day on the Princess board than on the Celebrity board.
