Atlantis Submarine

I think they offer two different flavors in GC. A larger 40+ man sub and a small 2 (+pilot) sub. The 2 man sub is much more expensive, but you can go deeper down.

The larger sub is great. We did it on St. Thomas and loved it. You go about 100 feet down and get to see a lot of sea life. We saw many sharks, etc. If you don't like confined spaces or are afraid of deep water you may not like it. We had a great time and would do it again if there weren't so much else to try.

Pros:

1. If you don't scuba dive, this is the next best thing.

2. When was the last time you rode in a submarine?

3. It's not an all-day excursion so you can do other things.

4. The wild assortment of colorful fishies, sharks, etc.

Cons

1. Price

2. Bad choice if you are claustrophobic. If you can fly, you won't have any problem in the sub.

You might think about the Nautilus if you're not fond of being underwater. The Atlantis does go under (same with the little 2-person thing), and my kids wanted nothing to do with that. By the time I got around to trying to book the Nautilus, they were completely booked for the week. If you are interested in doing this, I'd book in advance.
