Iberia Airlines ????

does anyone have any experiences flying on Iberia Airlines??

 

we are using our AA ff miles from Rome to JFK and they want to put us on Iberia..

Do a search here about Iberia. Not the best reviews. I am using Iberia from Miami - Lisbon and back from Rome. I'll be in business class, so hopefully the added perks will help the trip.

Iberia has the worst reputation of any Western European carrier. They have earned that reputation.

 

On most flights, this won't make any difference. When something goes wrong (missed connection due to late flight, etc.), however, Iberia is terrible.

 

That's how I judge airlines. I really don't care about the food-like substances they serve me or the movies. If I can talk the cabin crew out of a liter bottle of water, I consider the on-board service acceptable.

 

Using the above creteria, my own experience combined with enough similar stories to make me think I just was not unlucky a couple of times. I won't fly Iberia - internally or internationally.
