jimbug Posted December 11, 2006 #1 Share Posted December 11, 2006 Hola! Our snowy weather here in ND has me wishing for our cruise to hurry and get here, so I'm starting to make more plans. Does anyone have any recommendations for lunch on a Sunday in Old San Juan? I saw the menu for Barrachina, but I think maybe it's a little spendy and maybe too dinner-ish for what we want. Maybe some place that has sandwiches or a lighter fare? Thanks!

Bermudalou Posted December 15, 2006 #3 Share Posted December 15, 2006 While in Old San Juan this July, we had lunch at the Old Harbor Brewery. Right up the street from the visitor center. It was a great place to have lunch. They have a good selection. We had a PR sample platter which included rice & beans, fried bananas etc. You can also order a steak sandwich, burgers, etc. All in all it was a great place to have a quick lunch on a hot day. By the way, the microbrew beers were also great. Especially on a hot day in PR.
