Hi everyone:

My boyfriend and I are both first time cruisers! Needless to say we are very excited! My boyfriend is from England and I am American. We booked this cruise as a Christmas/New Year present to each other. We do not plan on doing any excursions. We also are a bit worried about the cost of alcoholic beverages, because we'd still like to have a GREAT time but don't want to break the bank. Any suggestions for us first time cruisers on a tight budget? Thanks Much:o

I'm sure you can read one of the LENGHTY articles on the ethics of bringing (sneaking) some of your own booze on board. We always bring a few bottles of wine, some vodka, and gin. Before you all bash me..... We still manage to have a fairly large bar tab at the end of the week.
