parking at san diego pier ??

I was wondering where to park at the pier in san diego ? we are going on a 14 day cruise so I would want it to be secured and close.. i checked out the website for the port of san diego and there were many options ..

anyone know the best place to park? and the closest?

All the places mentioned are fine. If you want indoors (such as Laurel Travel Center) you are going to pay a lot more. Lane Field is the closest, but it is not covered, and does not have a 24 hour guard.

 

Do you have friends or family in San Diego where you could leave your car and have them drive you to the port? Are you staying at a hotel that would offer park and cruise (such as the Holiday Inn on the Bay)?

my aunt lives in san diego.. actually lemon grove. so i might see if we can leave the car there..im hoping,, im just embarrassed to ask, but it might be worth it .... ;)
