I've posted pictures from our December 3-10 cruise on Explorer of the Seas. There are five albums: Explorer of the Seas, Belize, Costa Maya, Cozumel, and Grand Cayman.

Wes, we saw ruins in Belize, Costa Maya, and Cozumel. Each was different, as you can see by the pictures. I would, however, recommend using David and Ivan in Costa Maya (http://www.chacchobenruins.com/default.html) for the most amazing excursion you will have in the Caribbean. My second recommendation would be San Gervasio in Cozumel, which has small buildings (no large temple). These ruins give you a good idea how a Mayan town looked, even with "roads" leading between their buildings. The landscaping at San Gervasio was beautiful and the butterflies spectacular. If possible, do both Costa Maya and San Gervasio. You can walk San Gervasio on your own and read the plaques at each site, or there are guides available at the information booth.
