You might want to specify whether you are going to Montego Bay or Ocho Rios in Jamaica.

I've recently been on a cruise to all three places and neither RCCL nor any of the shore excursion companies I checked out had surfing. You may want to so do an on-line search for each place to find a surf board rental place as well as good beaches to surf then create your own shore excursion...

The Caribbean Ocean is quite different from the Atlantic, Pacific, or Gulf. It is known as very quietand calm. I don't think you'll find waves (even 2-footers) large enough to surf.
