Newly Constructed Hotels in FLL area?

Can anyone tell me about new hotels in the fll area? Because of allergies this is an issue. It really doesn't matter what class it is just newer.

The Pelican Beach Resort (new tower), The Atlantic (new), Gallery One (former Doubletree), St. Regis (opening in March 2007) , "W" (opening in February 2008), Hyatt Place (opening Spring 2007), Trump International Hotel & Tower (2007) and Trump Las Olas(2007)

There is also a Hilton opening Jan 2007

Its actually a Hilton not a Doubletree Hilton

Sorry I don't know of any 3* new properties in Ft Lauderdale. All of the properties that I know of that are slated to open are high end. The only other one I can think of that is not may be the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Ft. Lauderdale Air/Sea Port

Candlewood Suites is opening a new 71-suite extended-stay hotel near Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport (FLL). The hotel's location at 1120 State Road 84 is next to the Holiday Inn Express. ;)

Thanks for the great info.....but it doesn't work for us. They are accepting reservations from the 28th of Feb. But I'll keep it in mind for next time.:)

its on the North beach near las olas across from the beach. It certainly will have great company. I was staying at the Atlantic last month and realized that all of the hotels that are opening are all on the same strip. I can get my starwood fix within a two block radius
