horseback riding

we did it on our cruise a couple weeks ago. The only thing unique about it is that you ride the horses into the ocean - and the guides try to get the horses to swim with you on their backs. The horses are not keen on doing this - and one woman got thrown off into the water. My horse reared a little, but did not throw me. As a result, you will be completely drenched from the waist down.

Other than that you walk (only - though if your horse gets a little behind you may trot a few yards) on a path through an electrical power plant, up a hill through a path and then down to about a 50 yard beach. It's not particularly scenic, though you can see a bit of the coast.

If you are an experienced rider, I would say that this probably isn't what you are looking for - unless riding a horse in the ocean is something you really want to do.
