rustypuppers Posted December 26, 2006 #1 Share Posted December 26, 2006 Does anyone know if it's better to be on one side of the ship than the other. Sailing in Aug. the Vancouver round trip to Hubber glacier. I know they say they turn around so everyone can see but I'm wondering about the rest of the coastline going up. We booked a Royal Suite and I plan on using the balcony if weather permits. Any thoughts please!!!!!
SheilaNC Posted December 26, 2006 #2 Share Posted December 26, 2006 If you're round trip, it doesn't matter - you'll see both sides (one each way). And most people want to be on deck or in the Navigator lounge when at Hubbard (get there early for seats in the lounge - we went at 6:30 and couldn't find any). Lots of going in and out (in -to warm up with hot chocolate; out- to take pictures, feel the wind off of the glacier and hear the glacier calving). Lots of fun and an amazing trip....
