Alaska on Mercury?

Does anyone know if it's better to be on one side of the ship than the other. Sailing in Aug. the Vancouver round trip to Hubber glacier. I know they say they turn around so everyone can see but I'm wondering about the rest of the coastline going up. We booked a Royal Suite and I plan on using the balcony if weather permits. Any thoughts please!!!!!

If you're round trip, it doesn't matter - you'll see both sides (one each way). And most people want to be on deck or in the Navigator lounge when at Hubbard (get there early for seats in the lounge - we went at 6:30 and couldn't find any). Lots of going in and out (in -to warm up with hot chocolate; out- to take pictures, feel the wind off of the glacier and hear the glacier calving). Lots of fun and an amazing trip....
