Has anyone booked their cruise thru SkyAuction

Hi, this is my first time asking a question on the boards so here goes... Has anyone booked their cruise using Skyauction.com? I won an auction for the Triumph 11/13/04 and I think I got a great price, but am wondering if I shouldn't have booked thru a TA or PVP. If there are any price reductions, I can't take advantage of them, and since I have a 6A guarantee am wondering if I have any chance of being upgraded?!

I booked a balcony gty last year for the Glory, paid $650pp for the Eastern. They were going for about $900 - $1100 pp then. I was upgraded to a 8C, I was very happy!

 

Skyauction was very good to me, I even booked a weeklong vacation to St Maartens in October, Air/1BR Condo for only about $100 more than air would cost me from Denver! :)

I got good deals on both auctions.There is a chance for upgrade I think on any booking unless you ask for a specific cabin.

I have been lucky on several cruises with upgrades.

 

Going to hope for another one on the next trip.
